Our 909 Apparel® Heritage T-Shirt pays tribute to the aircraft that inspired our Brand's Name: an iconic B-17 named 'Nine-O-Nine'. Built in 1943, she was named after the last 3 digits of her Serial No: 42-31909. 'Nine-O-Nine' completed a record 140 combat missions during WWII without loss to the brave crews that flew her. Sadly scrapped post-war, to us, Nine-O-Nine will always be a symbol of courage & tenacity in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.
This 909 Custom is crafted with an Ultra-Soft Premium T-Shirt. It's comfortable, durable and supremely soft. The Left Sleeve references Nine-O-Nine's Tail Flash, featuring her Serial Number, the 91st Bomb Group's 'Triangle A' Tail Markings & her aircraft type & production block: B-17-30-BO.
