P-47D Thunderbolt - Heritage Blueprint T-Shirt
The P-47 Thunderbolt's rugged construction, armored cockpit and air-cooled engine made it the toughest and most survivable fighter of World War 2. The P-47 was designed by Republic Aviation (1939 - 1965), and was affectionately nicknamed 'The Jug' by Pilots. Famed for its firepower and high dive speed, the T-Bolt excelled at high altitude air combat and ground attack. It was a true all-rounder.
