Supermarine Aviation Works - Heritage T-Shirt
Our Supermarine Aviation Works T-Shirt features our recreation of the Supermarine Logo stamped onto the Rudder Pedals of early Spitfires. Supermarine was a British Aircraft Manufacturer founded in 1913 in Southampton. Supermarine rose to prominence with its successes in the Schneider Trophy for Seaplanes. In these early years, Supermarine used their iconic 'S' Flag Logo, which we've included on the Left Sleeve as a tribute to this pioneering period.
Supermarine's greatest triumph would come in 1936, when a team led by RJ Mitchell designed perhaps the most iconic Fighter Aircraft of all time, the Spitfire. The Supermarine name was dropped after a merger in 1960, but their incredible legacy lives on.
This 909 Custom is crafted with an Ultra-Soft Premium T-Shirt in Vintage Ash. It's supremely soft, comfortable & durable with the perfect amount of stretch.
